JW Rehearsal Serifs 2

This font (with serifs) is designed for the automatic Rehearsal Mark feature in Finale 2010. It has an "old look", bent corners and tight horizontal spacing. It's designed to work well with scores that use (for example) Times New Roman as page text but yet stand out from the page. If hyphens are need for lower case letters (for example to indicate a rehearsal mark range), use the underscore character instead. Use normal hyphen character for. upper case letters and digits. Please refer to the JW Rehearsal Serifs Bold font for general instructions on how to use the font with the automatic rehearsal mark feature.

JW Rehearsal SCAPS 1 Bold

Another font designed for the automatic Rehearsal Mark feature in Finale 2010. This is a special version of the JW Rehearsal Shadow 1 Bold font, that is specially designed to have vertically centered upper case letters and digits. This font will NOT work well with lower-case letter rehearsal marks!  Please refer to the JW Rehearsal Serifs Bold font for general instructions on how to use the font.

JW Rehearsal Shadow 1 Bold

Another font designed for the automatic Rehearsal Mark feature in Finale 2010. A clean sans serif font with thin border and a subtle drop border shadow. 4 different brackets supported. This version of the font is suitable for marks that use lower case letters; for only upper case or digits try the JW Rehearsal SCAPS 1 Bold version. JW Rehearsal Serifs Bold

A free rehearsal mark font with serifs (created by Jari Williamsson), specially designed for the new Rehearsal Mark expression style that was introduced in Finale 2010. In the Expression Designer, put  the rehearsal mark style between any of the [], {}, (), {} brackets to get automatic enclosures. Like this:

After the new rehearsal mark style has been created, you probably want to assign a metatool key for it (so the process to add new rehearsal marks to the score gets really quick and easy). The Finale 2010 default files use M as the metatool key for rehearsal marks, so to get that same behaviour press Shift+M in the document (while the Expression Tool is selected) to program the metatool key to use the new Rehearsal Mark style.

If needed, edit the Score List for the Rehearsal Marks category as well to make sure the marks show correctly in both score and parts.
